Oh what a beautiful day!

I've been so darned productive today!

I've gotten almost all the pieces for a 16th century Turkish overcoat cut out, both coat and lining, and the lining assembled. The garment is intended to be finished by Saturday, in time for Coronation.

I've done three loads of laundry.

Dad and I raked up the last of the leaves in the back yard, then planted 3 clematis plants along the side fence. I also added some pansies (big surprise!). We've got wild violets peeking out, as well as a single daffodil and the tips of some peonies in the front yard.

Now I'm going to go sit on the front porch with a cool drink and a good book.

Sounds vastly more productive than Friday was here. We bummed around mostly, plus cleaning. Sewed maybe a whole 30 minutes.
