I forgot to mention that this was perhaps the most beautiful weather I have ever experienced at the Congress. It didn't rain, it wasn't boiling, it was sunny and breezy and beautiful every day.
I picked up a cd by a group called the York Waits that has some familiar dance tunes in new arrangements. It's pretty good. The world needs more music with sackbuts, crumhorns and hurdy-gurdies!
Lilacs are perhaps one of my favorite things about spring, and Kalamazoo was full of them. So is my backyard here at home! Yay!
In the International Foods section at Meijer today I found Jammie Dodgers!
