Good Vibrations needed

This weekend I'm headed off to Terpsichore, one of the best SCA events of the year. I love this event, I really do, but I have developed a disturbing habit of hurting myself before or at the event. Two years ago, the day before Terp, I seriously burned my forearm with my iron set on the linen setting. I still have a scar from where some of my skin stuck to the iron. Last year I fell off a platform and sprained my ankle (again!) right before the evening ball. While this enabled me to see true Chivalry in action, and showed me the kindness and sympathy of many of my friends, I was terribly embarrassed and rather ticked with myself, not to mention disappointed.

I am asking you to send me good wishes, mojo, vibes, luck, anything that will help boost my chances of being accident-less. I will sprain no ankles, suffer no knee pain, no burns will occur, and I will not screw up teaching dances I've never taught before. I will endeavor to maintain a positive attitude, as I know a negative one will be more conducive to accidents, but I wouldn't mind a little extra help.

Yay! If you're there in the evening at all, you can meet my sweetie! And kids in garb are always adorable! I haven't seen Mr. Froggie Pants since 12th Night last year, I'm sure he's much bigger now! Is your hubbie coming, too?

I actually have had Numo bookmared for about a week! Isn't he adorable? I need a pet hedgehog (someday)!
